Instead of roguelike permament death, the player will be punished for his/her failures in a more balanced way: the death of your party members that you've spent a lot of time leveling up, your precious marketplaces overtaken by hostile factions, and your own character getting more and more deluded and paranoid. Instead of relying on roguelike resets after death and time-based pressure, THREAT ACTOR will be a game focused on dark web exploration and interactions with other cybercriminals. The success of cyberrat has taught us a lot of lessons: not only from a technical perspective, but it also gave us more of a defined idea what players want and enjoy in dark, cybercrime-themed games.Ĭompared to cyberrat, THREAT ACTOR will have a bigger budget and more realistic, detailed and polished mechanics. After the sucessful launch of XXX_CYBERRAT_XXX, we've now moved to our next game, THREAT ACTOR.
